Fry’s Electronics Shuts Down Permanently

The iconic Fry’s Electronics retail store is shutting all its doors permanently. Fry’s has been in business for 36 years.  It has 31 stores across nine American states. Bay Area TV station KRON-4 was the first news channel which confirmed the rumors. They confirmed that Fry’s will make an announcement on their official website.

Rumors went true

This news went out when a Twitter user named Bill Reynolds tweeted about Fry’s shutting entirely. He said that he got the news from a source, a worker at the store. A user named @luluono98 said that they were called to the office and told that ‘it’s the last day that Fry’s Electronics is open to the public’.

Why is Fry’s Electronics going out of the business?

2020 has been a rough year for almost everyone. People and their businesses suffered a lot because of the global pandemic. This pandemic brought so many businesses to miseries. Workers had to resign from their jobs because they were not getting paid for the employment. The same thing happened to Fry’s, they did not survive COVID-19. A lot of other companies had to shut their business because of the pandemic.

Official Announcement

Fry’s made this difficult decision to shut their business because of the changes in the retail industry and COVID-19. The company had faced COVID-19 challenges but couldn’t stand against the pandemic. The company made an official announcement saying that shutting off their business will be in the best interest of the company.

Final words

Fry’s Electronics has been known for years in the US as the largest retail store of electronic and computing devices. You could find every electronic device you could think of. However, apparently, Fry’s electronics will be going out of business as they have officially announced it on their website.
