Having the same routing meal sitting at a normal restaurant or at home can be a bit boring at times so you go out and enjoy your meal with a sight of wonder. There are many fancy restaurants anywhere you go but food is often the main point.

Times have changed. Now, the food is sometimes the secondary part of the experience. There are some unique and unusual restaurants around the world that will turn your meal into a spectacle. So, instead of babbling on, we’re just going to get into it straight away

1. Ice Restaurant, United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is one of the most popular countries in the Middle East and the whole world, and for many reasons.  One of the talking points are things that you would not dream about finding there shockingly available. It is no wonder that it is renowned as the miracle in the desert. The ice restaurant is a restaurant in the MIDDLE EAST made completely out of ice. Seriously, ice in one of the hottest destinations in the world. So, you walk in in your shorts and light t-shirts only to wrap up into winter clothes and have a meal in this restaurant.

2. HEART ATTACK GRILL RESTAURANT, LAS VEGAS, USA

This is definitely my kind of place. The heart attach grill restaurant is a hospital-themed restaurant that has waitresses dressed up as nurses and take orders in the form of subscription. The name of the restaurant fits perfectly with the menu. Beef, Cheese and fries and towers of them. Its like the ultimate cheat day which would probably last for a month.

3. HAOHAI ROBOT RESTAURANT, HARBIN, CHINA

At this unique restaurant, robots deliver food to the customers. Opened in 2012, the restaurant has gained fame in using a total of 20 robots, which range in heights of 1.3-1.6 m, to cook meals and deliver dishes. A perfect glimpse into the future of restaurants and AI.

4. The Labassin Waterfall Restaurant, Philippines

The unique surrounding is all natural and barely touched by people. Visitors enjoy authentic local cuisine and dine at the bamboo tables. Their feet are rinsed by the crystal clear water. What could be more refreshing in this humid climate! The running waterfall works as a natural air conditioner.

5. The Disaster Café, Lloret de Mar, Spain

When you heard the name, what did you first think of? Well, in this case – think earthquakes! The Disaster Café is a marvelous restaurant with an amazing design and an even better idea behind it. Guests who eat here can experience simulated earthquakes with 7.8 Richter scale while being completely safe!

6. Vertigo Restaurant and Moon Bar, Bangkok

Are you afraid of heights? If you aren’t, this is a restaurant you must visit! Located at the top of a skyscraper, this restaurant is part of the Banyan Tree Hotel. Featuring a great Sky Bar with an elongated deck, you can enjoy a floating feeling while consuming a cocktail!

7. The Rock Restaurant, Zanzibar

Zanzibar is a popular island located in the Indian Ocean. This is a must-visit spot if you enjoy crystal clear water and sandy beaches, since it has a very pleasant climate and many captivating resorts. But, if you do decide to visit this spot, there is one more thing to add to your list – the huge rock called The Rock Restaurant.

8. Dinner in the Sky, Montreal, Canada

This concept dining experience has you wining-and-dining hundreds of feet up in the air. An experience of a lifetime, you can choose a VIP event of only 22 people or go up to a party of 350. There’s even an option of sky-high live entertainment, should you so wish.

9. Modern Toilet Taipei City, Taiwan Province, China

This is the only place where dining and bathroom amenities are on the same table. Sounds bizarre? Well, read on! This vague idea was conceptualized by one of the founders who was reading and sitting and doing his job in the toilet. To make things more unusual, the food is also presented in a unique way if you know what I mean. If you don’t, well I suggest you look it up.

10. Ninja New York, New York City, USA

With ninjas flying in from all directions, the meal is anything but peaceful. You can find Ninjas creeping out of cupboards while you’re eating or jumping right at you as you head towards the washroom, a reservation here is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
