Survivor Series is coming to the WWE Network on Sunday, November 18, and this event has the Raw and Smack down rosters facing each other in a plethora of bouts over the course of the evening. The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California will host the PPV, which starts at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT with a Kickoff Show starting two hours prior. The event will be available to watch on the WWE Network as well as PPV, and there are plenty of different ways to watch Survivor Series. We have so many incredible matches to look forward to but we are going to miss out on the most hyped match after the incredible promos by Becky Lynch leading to her match against the baddest b**ch on the planet.
Becky Lynch, #TheMan lead the smack down women roster to one of the best invasions in the last decade. So much so that her match with Ronda Rousey was the most hyped match even with all the great matches on the card including the single championship matches and the main Survivor Series match. Well, it may be a huge bummer that Becky Lynch will not be cleared to fight Ronda Rousey at, but we can all revel in the fact that Smack down’s invasion of Raw was one of the greatest WWE moments of 2018. Plus, we can expect them to battle each other at the grandest stage if the creative team keeps the flames growing.
Coming back to the pay per view itself, the main attraction of the event is none other than the multiple Survivor Series matches. Men, women, and tag teams will all get their own elimination tag matches, which will be scattered across the evening. The only one of these matches with any type of build is the women’s match, which we previously mentioned. In total, there are eight matches taking place during the evening. Let’s take a look at the main matches fans are looking forward to and our predictions;
1. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Daniel Bryan
The WWE universe is still in shock after what happened on Smack Down. We don’t know what’s worse; the fact the Daniel Bryan is champion or the way he won the championship. Either way, Brock Lesnar isn’t losing to Daniel Bryan even if they manage to pull off a decent non-squash match which is unlikely considering the size difference. To be honest, if it was anyone but Brock Lesnar, there would be something in it for both and the match would be great. Unless, the WWE has something huge planned out to prove us wrong but doesn’t look like it.
Result- Brock wins clean after taking Bryan to boring city
2. Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte
We all expected and wanted to see Ronda vs Flair at WrestleMania but we got it earlier thanks to an unscripted punch by Nia Jax to Becky Lynch. A concussion and broken nose keeps the Smack Down champ from getting her hands on the Ronda, FOR NOW. Still, we expect a lot out of this match as these two are probably the most technically gifted female superstars in WWE right now and Flair does have the size and agility to hold her own.
Result- Charlotte Flair wins due to an interference/distraction from Becky Lynch or Ronda wins clean after a great performance by Flair.
3. Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura
This is without a doubt the most anticipated match of the night. Put aside their major rivalries they have going on their respective brands; this match could be among the greatest matches of this generation. We feel that Nakamura has a lot more to prove than the King Slayer with all his accomplishments. A victory for Nakamura would do wonders for him and he has the skill set and charisma to beat Seth Rollins. Nakamura is as quick as Rollins, is a much better submission wrestler than Rollins with both an arm bar and triangle choke, and he is one of the top strikers on the WWE main roster
Result- Shinsuke Nakamura wins after an interference from Dean Ambrose
4. Women’s Survivor Series Match
To be honest, this looks like the worst match on the cards with no real build up or star power on both sides.
Result- Nobody cares but for the sake of those who do, team Smack Down wins with Asuka as the lone survivor.
5. Men’s Survivor Series Match
To be honest, we are a bit disappointed with the Smack Down team particularly with Shane McMahon in it. The Raw team looks way more impressive in terms of both power and skillset. Smack Down should have included Rusev or Big E to the team to match the power of Raw as Braun and McIntyre can beat Smack Down on their own. The only thing that may improve Smack Down’s chances is how good the RAW team does at getting along with each other as none of them like any of them. The same can be said for team Smack Down but they have the commissioner to keep them in check.
Result- Team Raw wins with Strauman or McIntyre as the survivor. Survivor gets Universal title shot.
6. Raw Tag Team Champions AOP vs. Smack Down Tag Team Champions The Bar
I feel like this match would be about evening the results of the night so the match itself would be something not everyone would be tuning into. We expect The Bar to win easily but The AOP are tough as they come so when titles or brands are on the line, then you can expect them to beat any team. Plus, you can expect Big Slow to interfere in the match.
Result- The Bar wins after Big Show delivers a KO while the Referee isn’t looking.
