1. Kevin Owens (face) vs. Triple H

Kevin Owens (face) vs. Triple H

Kevin Owens is the one of the best talents the WWE have on their roster. He is one of the best performers in the ring, on the mike and the crowd absolutely loves him from way back in his Indy days. He is one of Triple H’s guys and what better way to push him than having a match with him at the grandest stage. Sure, we have seen him as heel most of his career with multiple championship reigns, but he can be a great face as well. He recently quit the WWE on Monday night raw only to attack Bobby Lashley the following week. If this story line persists, they need to have Kevin Owens lose some more important matches and let the frustration bring out the “Fight Owens Fight” chants from the crowd, eventually turning him face. Plus, he is a bad ass character and will not be a typical face like John Cena but more like the Rock or Stone Cold who were bad guys the crowd loved to support. Then, his frustration leads to a back stage collision with the game followed by some personal comments. Triple H can claim he is the reason Kevin Owens is relevant and boom, Kevin has got something to prove, hence, the match at WrestleMania.

2. AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins – WWE Championship

AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins – WWE Championship

This will be a once in a life time dream match. People have imagined what it would be like to have a match between AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels, Undertaker vs Sting, Eddie Guerrero vs Daniel Bryan. AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins would undoubtedly be one the best WrestleMania matches of all time. These two arguably the best performers in the ring and this match will definitely exhibit a WrestleMania moment. This match may be on the cards if Seth can win the Royal Rumble. He will definitely be one of the favourites to win it. If this match does happen and Seth wins, it might also be the best opportunity to turn Dean Ambrose heel the following Monday night Raw. It’s always great to see divided crowds cheering for both superstars. You can expect, “Lets go Rollins, Aj Styles”, chants from the crowd.

3. Shawn Michaels VS The Undertaker – If undertaker loses, he retires

Shawn Michaels VS The Undertaker - If undertaker loses, he retires

Talk about the ultimate revenge. HBK might be coming out of retirement to face the man who retired him and retire him as well. This week we witnessed the Undertaker deliver his best promo in years. As provoking as it was, will it be enough to bring back the show stopper to the ring? Only time and the result in Melbourne, Australia will determine which direction they want to take this. Shawn Michaels does have a history of interfering in Undertaker’s matches.  Triple H is in better shape than the Undertaker, probably the best shape of his life. However, you never know what the scripts hold so we are yet to see any glimmers of the possibility. The last 2 editions of Taker vs. HBK produced the greatest match in history. It’s hard to top that but if anyone needs to retire the undertaker, it should be Shawn Michaels. How about another, “I’m sorry. I love you”. Ring any bells?

4. Charlotte Flair VS Rhonda Rousey – Unified Women’s Championship

Charlotte Flair VS Rhonda Rousey – Unified Women’s Championship

This match can be thought of as a female version of Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar, although you can bet it won’t be as boring as the last four matches they had combined. If the storyline makes sense and is executed right, it could be the greatest women’s match of all time. WWE need to realize they do not have a lot of divas who can go toe to toe with Rousey so they need to level the playing field. During Brock Lesnar’s reign, there wasn’t much competition in the championship hunt with only Roman, Braun, and Joe looking like they could just survive him. This led to the backlash from the fans who got tired of seeing the same matches over and over again. So far, they’re doing an ok job, but Ronda is not a nice woman and a lot of the stuff she does looks unrealistic. She is not the woman we saw at WrestleMan

5. 10-man WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Finn Balor vs. Bobby Roode vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Sami Zayn (returning) vs. Elias vs. Chris Jericho vs. The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Drew Mcintyre

5. 10-man WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match

13 years ago we witnessed one of the best wwe matches ever. The first ever money in the bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21 was a huge success. Ever since then, it has been one of the most awaited matches all year and in the same league as the Royal Rumble match and the Survivor Series Smack down vs. Raw team match. The pay per view however, has not been much of a success. This match belongs on the grandest stage with more WrestleMania moments in the making. If it does happen, I think Elias would win it and get that heel push we’ve been waiting for. If a fan favorite is going to win, it has to be either Finn Balor or Chris Jericho but that is very unlikely to happen even though Jericho invented the match. You may call it the “Match of Jericho”.
